Modeling Steps
Modeling a transfer chute with Chute Maven is a straightforward engineering workflow. You build the geometry in AutoCAD, import the model, define the material and operating conditions, run the simulation, and review the results to refine the design.
- Prepare the chute geometry in AutoCAD. Include the chute, belts, and load point in scale.
- Import the DXF file into Chute Maven. Confirm surfaces, belts, and orientation.
- Define operating conditions. Set belt speed, tonnage, and material properties.
- Run the simulation. Review flow behavior, loading, and transfer performance.
- Refine the design. Iterate on geometry and export results for review.
