Modeling Steps

Modeling a transfer chute with Chute Maven is a straightforward engineering workflow. You build the geometry in AutoCAD, import the model, define the material and operating conditions, run the simulation, and review the results to refine the design.

  1. Prepare the chute geometry in AutoCAD. Include the chute, belts, and load point in scale.
  2. Import the DXF file into Chute Maven. Confirm surfaces, belts, and orientation.
  3. Define operating conditions. Set belt speed, tonnage, and material properties.
  4. Run the simulation. Review flow behavior, loading, and transfer performance.
  5. Refine the design. Iterate on geometry and export results for review.
